The laws and codes aren't necessarily working against me. Cal has passed an amendment that property taxes can't be changed by adding a renewable source. As far as the rest, there are enuf people living off the grid up here that that isn't too much of a problem. The inspector will have to come,but I don't think he can go beyond this job, so that's good :-)

Right now, where I see the system working against me and itself, is in terms of output. I get a new meter, which spins either way. No bonus for going below zero; free corporate welfare energy for PGE. So why should I go with an overkill
set-up? Also why do the feds give businesses tax breaks, but not the Rat?
