They've tried for 6 years, there is no common ground. Someone has to win, and it seems like we find out who in the next couple of weeks. And this isn't a matter of law ( Reid's comment not withstanding ), it is a matter of internal Senate rules. Reps and Dems should find common ground and settle this like any law suit would be.
