Dont you just love horse trading. How about going from 60 to 55 on judicial appointees because of life term rather than elimination? I am just picking a number. Do any of us really know what the credentials of these judges are anywaqy? I dont have a clue about local judges. Does anyone really feel comfortable that this admin talks of Clarence Thomas as possible CJ? Thats probably will come next if nuclear option taken. And CT doesnt make me feel warm and fuzzy. Would rather have a more accomplished judge whether liberal or conservative. Scalia deserves it but Thomas, give me a break. mike
