He MIGHT be--and we surely are. He is so big a Christian that he supports "God's" murder of 42 kids by a couple of bears because they said something childish to "Baldy". Supposedly, these were God's kids!?

the story in the book of kings makes perfect sense once you surrender your heart to Jesus Christ, join yourself to His Church and are given the Holy Spirit.

let me help explain this passage to you. it is a perfect picture and prophecy of the crucifixion of Christ Jesus.

And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. --2 Kings 2:23

1) so let's take a look here. children. this is the jews. were not the jews often called "children of israel"?

2) the children came forth out of the city. did not the "children" of israel march Christ out of the city to be crucified?

3) the children "mocked" him. is that not the precise word used in the gospels to describe the behavior of the chief priests, scribes, and elders?

4) Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. why did they say "go up"? they mean "go up" on the cross. for we are told repeatedly in the gospel of John of Christ being lifted up on the cross.

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

5) what is a bald head? a skull is a bald head is it not? where was Christ crucified? golgotha? calvary? calvary in latin means the same thing as golgotha in hebrew--skull or place of the skull.

6) why did the "children" (the jews) repeat it twice?

Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head

so that luke 23:21 would fulfill the prophesy when the "children" of israel "cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him."

go up thou bald head; go up thou bald head is saying go up on the cross at the place of the skull, go up thou bald head is saying go up on the cross at the place of the skull -- crucify him, crucify him!

isn't the word of God perfect and a beautiful thing to behold?
