Ted, Is he still considered a good one? Yeah. The buzz around here is that people who voted for Villaragosa (the challenger) did so because they either liked him or because Hahn (the incumbent) was ineffective as mayor. Meanwhile, people who voted for Hahn did so because he was seen as the lesser of two evils. The lesser of two evils? Isn't that a bit of contradiction? I understood that Hahn was fairly ineffective while when I was in LA, Villargosa was fairly effective. Having said that, I realize you are in OC and are probably getting your info second hand.
