re: No, I'm just saying that the press doesn't always get it right. Not that I'm sure that Newsweek's story wasn't actually true, and I'm pretty sure that Dan Rather's one was. These guys hold the press to a higher standard than their politicians. Ask him about the intentional lies about the cost of the prescription drug benefit to the public, AND congress. In this Republic, I would rather have an aggressive press that pushes the borders than a press that is afraid to upset the establishment (similar to many totalitarian countries).
