To me it was understood. they are people dude. they have families. they do back breaking work. they climb ladders. they fall off. they break their bones and the bones stick through their skin in big bloody messes when they fall. they work hard for prob less than minimum wage. they work very long hours in cold windy dry wet conditions. they don't have all the comforts that some people have but they just work hard. they are talked about and put down. they are treated condescendingly by ignorant people. they have issues because of language problems. they don't really have a problem with their own culture and get along just fine in that sense. they are just humans man. humans trying to survive in this world just like the next guy. All that went without saying. pretty much.
