What good is a campus with all of those expensive buildings when I could have access to all of the information I want or need inside my brain instantly, anywhere?

Teachers would be obsolete for the most part. I could be my own teacher, adviser and dorm mom in one. If we did have those google chips inside our brains we might experience more and more isolation....which isn't a good thing......but the expense of keeping those public schools operating would be eliminated.....which would be a good thing because the huge amounts of money earmarked for education could go into other more worthwhile social projects. The working class could receive even bigger tax breaks/refunds than they have previously enjoyed as experienced under the leadership of president Bush. They would have more money available to them for discretionary spending and could buy the things that make life more enjoyable and worthwhile. At the same time, all of those buildings on campus could be turned into employee housing, low income housing, retail and office space. Bull dozed to make room for more golf courses. -gg-

We need more housing in my city.....this would be the perfect solution. I know the University of Washington has allot of open spaces and lovely grounds that could be turned into community parks as well.

I just don't see a need for all of those universities and colleges if we have information implants. Had you thought of that?

And I hope that if/when the day comes you don't inundate my brain with unsolicited advertising regarding your engineering/consulting business. I'm way past the stage of wishing to deal with any complicated and vexing super whizzoes in my household.

And I didn't say drink around in my post, I said dink around as in busy ones self with unimportant or neglected make work projects. But if you must, have a beer while you're at it.

;) M
