Thinking back at the career of one Allen Greenspan which is about to end, one thing stands out. Greenspan has to be the GREATEST Fed Chairman that China, India and other developing countries ever had. Conversely, he is probably single-handedly responsible for the hollowing out of the gut of USA, the manufacturers. May be as Stephen Roach repeatedly opined, this is just part of the global rebalancing process. May be the US consumers are just like aphids, kept fed and fat so all the ants of the world can feed off the juices. The question is would J6Ps wake up one morning, found out they have been screwed, roll over and die, or would that good old Yankee ingenuity be revived to start a new round of innovations?
