I think the general perception includes all of the above. However I have found that there are also other well researched opinions and these must be balanced to present a complete picture. I do not personally believe that Internet Sales will really take off until the markets relinquish to competetive pricing pressures inherent in the Internet's explosive end user mass market potential. This means that cost reductions gained by use of this medium must be passed on to the buyer. Until this happens there will be little incentive other than convenience to spur growth, and it is probably more convenient for most to pick up the phone and order from a catalog.
