well they're piling into big cap tech now---the performance chasers that is. if you want a money manager, you want the people that bought this stuff 10 days ago not those piling in now....this exactly why, when fees are taken out, more mutual funds underperform thant outperform---my guess is overall hedge funds about same, especially with the much larger fees overall....no good data on hedgies though.
