TORONTO, May 19 /CNW/ - SAMSys Technologies Inc. (SMY: TSX), ("SAMSys" or
the "Company"), an international provider of Radio Frequency Identification
(RFID) hardware solutions and consulting services announced that the Company
has agreed to raise approximately $8 million through the issue of common
shares and warrants to purchase common shares in the Company by way of a
private placement and at a price to be determined.
SAMSys has appointed TD Securities Inc. and GMP Securities Ltd. as
co-leads to act, on a best efforts basis, as the Company's private placement
agents.

This news release does not constitute an offer to sell or a solicitation
