The poor Small Faces got screwed when Steve Marriott left. They got stuck with some rummy lead singer named Rod Stewart and ended up recording the biggest hits of their career, though they dropped the Small from their name. Then their lead guitarist became "The New Guy" in The Rolling Stones for the next 30 years and Rod went solo. I thing Frampton was one of the all time worst singers in rock. Worse than Dylan, who at least had good songs. Worse than Neil Young. Worse than the guy from Bad Company, Paul Rodgers. Even worse than Bono. Not Sonny, who was bad, but had a duet partner who sang the hard parts. The guy from Yoo, Too?
