The Oil Ministry's documents, which as you state the Senate is a asking about, do not show any illegal (or even illicit) activity. All they say is that UN approved the sale of some oil to a Jordanian/Iraqi businessman and that same business man contributed to Gallaway's company that had been involved in lobbying against the sanctions.

So what is wrong with that? The business dealing was legal. The contributions was legal. Gallaway's company had been active in lobbying against sanctions even before the contributions. So all in all, show me what illegal activity happened and what all this hoopla is all about? And I ask you again, why would anyone see the need to forge documents if there real ones were damning evidence?
