US laws says no women in combat zones. The problem with Iraq (and probably one major reason for PTSD coming out of there IMO) is that the frontline is everywhere.

I think that law is wrong. If women want to fight, let them. There are plenty of women who can tough it out much better than most men.

Most of these are poor or middleclass women who are trying to get ahead in life the only way they can. Since 40% of Iraq is reservists and national guard, some of these are women who served for help with college and are leaving behind families because Bush called them up for indefinite indentured servitude.
