Don't you think all people who dress up and get wildly in to fantasy on their off hours, probably have some issues? I would think a heavy interest in any kind of fantasy life, whether it's dressing up as a Klingon, or a Renaissance person, or a Civil War reenacter, would indicate some general psychological profile. People who escape in to fantasy generally have common reasons for why they want to escape in to fantasy- I would imagine.
