Interesting piece (in Chinese). Some Japanese researcher compared DNA of modern Japanese with the DNA of their Japanese ancestors (Ying Wen Ren), found little similarity between the two. But when he compared the DNA of modern Japanese with that of the Chinese, they found out there is a great similarity between the two. So the logical conclusion seems to be that the modern Japanese are more like the descendant of Chinese.

After the research was published, the right wing Japanese threatened to kill that researcher. LOL
