This thread of discussion goes back to me talking about who is the NVA if Iraq is Vietnam. If the insurgency is the NVA than it would have all of those qualifications.

Yes, unreasonable to claim. History proves that.

Really? When has this insurgency done that? Answer it hasn't. Hit and run, usually by a handful of individuals, but sometimes by a few dozen, isn't a sustained offense.
