Oh really? You think a .223 or .308 round won't kill a deer. Lots of people hunt with these rounds from SKSs, AR-15s. The AK-47 semi version fires a 5.6x39mm round...another good round for deer hunting. Any round big enough to hunt humans is certainly good for deer hunting.
