Is the percentage premium for F shares fairly consistent? If I understand you correctly, the premium is about 50% for SIA. Do you have a good source of information about how many F shares have been issued for a given security, and whether more F shares can be issued? I would think the companies would want to issue F shares at a premium, rather than let traders earn that money. I would also think that for every new issue, a local would want to go long the F shares and short the L shares.
