I listened to Bill O'Reilley today on the Radio Factor Show. A liberal caller blamed President Bush for the animus Muslims feel for the US. The caller accused President Bush of doing something to cause 9/11.

Bill pointed out about 10 Muslim extremist attacks against the US during the Clinton terms and the caller ended up sounding like a partisan liberal. The funny thing is that extremists from either end get their arguments shredded by Bill.

Bill's theory is that most Muslims hate the US because they hate Jews and Israel with a seething irrational hatred (my words). He continued that Middle Eastern Muslims dislike the support our government gives to Israel. He also claimed that Muslims think that 90% of Americans are Jewish.

I believe that if Israel were to disappear tomorrow, radical Muslims would find new excuses to hate the US. When people are deprived of basic economic rewards, having a third party to hate blunts the pain of ones self inflicted misery.
