The CATO institute was founded by a guy who grew disgusted with the impotence of the Libertarian Party and founded CATO to further libertarian goals -- with no small success. Re Hayek, from economicprincipals.com They included "classical liberals" or libertarians, exemplified by Ludwig von Mises, Friederich Hayek, Ayn Rand and Milton Friedman, worried by the threat to private enterprise posed by an expanding state. Are these the "people of good reputation" I'm trying to co-opt? Are you now or have you ever been -- Raymond Duray?
