"Senate Rules can be declared Unconstitutional"

Ha!!!!!!!!!!! So what?

If someone wants to try taking a case to the Supreme Court hoping for a ruling against an internal action of Congress, then they are certainly free to try.

(Most of the time though, the Supremes decline to intervene in a matter central to the power of the Legislative branch....)

Still... you might be on to something.

I suppose that if the V.P. (preciding over the Senate) broke a tie vote and --- in the process --- actually ruled *against* a ruling of the official Senate Parlimentarian... then it is possible that those actions, (and maybe the court appointments that ensued) could one day be ruled *null and void*, illegal, and rolled back.

An interesting can-o-worms.
