So... if I am fairly stating your position... you want to INCREASE MAJORITARIAN POWERS IN THE SENATE A LITTLE BIT (increase them over what they ARE NOW), but you don't want to increase them a LOT --- like, say, amending the constitution to have Senators apportioned by population like the House members are.... You want to KEEP those minority political powers... just not the others.
