You didn't say hellish, fine I didn't say without health insurance. The $50k figure originated with me talking about people I know who do have health insurance. The term that I replied to wasn't "hellish" it was "sucks" which I guess isn't quite as negative.

What about the hard working folks making $20K? Not allowed to have kids?

There are people who support kids and only make $20k. So there hardly "not allowed to have kids". What's the thrust of your question? Are you asking me what I think its like for them? Are you asking me what federal or state programs exist for them? Do you think we need some large new program or program expansion to send money or other help their way? Is it a rhetorical question with you trying to assert some point that you aren't directly stating?
