Axonyx director Steven B Ratoff has bought 250.000 of the company's shares in the open market. Ratoff joined Axonys's board two weeks ago and is evidently very impressed by what he has seen so far. Or maybe not. My guess is not, so I cannot really understand why the guy did this. Why not just wait for the options to vest? Rathoff has a somewhat checkered past, having served at CIMA Labs during the time they agreed to be merging with aaiPharma. Maybe he got a fat check from Cephalon after they took over CIMA through a competing cash offer. Erik
