So I guess you now agree that life isn't happy-go-lucky for a family of four making $50K, since you didn't disagree with the rest of my post? You agree that they are one slip up away from bankruptcy?

re: There are people who support kids and only make $20k. So there hardly "not allowed to have kids". What's the thrust of your question? Are you asking me what I think its like for them? Are you asking me what federal or state programs exist for them? Do you think we need some large new program or program expansion to send money or other help their way? Is it a rhetorical question with you trying to assert some point that you aren't directly stating?

I was just responding to your pollyanna posts about how well off the working poor are in this country.

You want to know what I think we should do to flatten the growing wage discrepancy in this country? Ask and I'll respond when I get a chance.
