Have you read his book "How to Trade in Stocks" , The Livermore Formula for Combining Time Element and Price, By Jesse L. Livermore

He published his 'system' in this book. He always bet it all, for example in 1929 dollars he made 33 million , by 1932 he was broke for the third time.
