The Crash of 1997 (Part 1 0f 4)
Followed by:

Part 2 - Some good investments
Part 3 - The Low point
Part 4 - How to recognize the next crash

It now appears that the crash of 1997 is less than 30 days away.
The media has been reporting on similarities between the 1987 crash
and what is happening now. Here are some additional tidbits from the past.

The DJIA reached its closing high on Aug.6, 1997 at 8259.
On Oct 4, 1974 the cash S&P hit a major low.
On Oct 7 1997, an intraday high of 8430 was reached before dropping.
The time between the two dates was 8343 days.
This junction of price and time signals that the current trend has
ended, and the beginning of a new trend in the opposite direction.

The last time this happened was on Jan 11,1973- DJIA high of 1067.
The DJIA was at a low of 41.11 in 1932.
1932+41=1973. The Dow suffered a 50% correction into the 1974 lows.

The most likely time for the crash to occur is between
September 29 - October 4, 1997.
Sept. 30 is the most likely day.
