Have you ever worked in a Research and/or Engineering environment? Yes, I've worked in both capacities. I got some nice patents at Dell by discovering things that hadn't yet been discovered, but there is also a lot of manipulation of well known ideas to fit the task at hand. All I am saying is that the mechanical design is the one area that Dell consistentently tried to innovate. TP
