Everybody uses Toronto for NYC these days.

I have one daughter, one son-in-law and one grandson who belong to SAG.

They explained to me that the reason for filming in Canada has been to by-pass their union.

They also told me that the trend is reversing for many reasons. For example, much filming that had moved to Canada from the SAG studios in Wilmington, NC is moving back.
