The nexus is that we're topsy-turvy in our arguments. The woman in the story thought that she was exhibiting compassion by voting away the money of others. Topsy-turvy. You think you're supporting democracy by supporting the power of the minority to block the will of the majority to do what's mandated by the Constitution. Topsy-turvy.
