to slow the USD decline the FED will "NEED" to raise rates which in turn will worsen the RE situation and slow the economy.

Remember AG statements in 1993/4 about great "headwinds" for the anticipated recovery due to the lingering liquidation of overbuild over leveraged RE? and S&L fiasco?
