It is a power grab isn't it?

Maybe you can explain to me why these nominees are "totally unacceptable" to the minority? I've seen democratic senators being asked that question on various news shows, listened to interviews on the radio and read columns on line. None have answered satisfactorily. I'm still in the dark about their objections.......other than this is a battle over political ideology....which doesn't disqualify one from an up or down vote in congress.
