Ergo, it would have been a good idea to provide two plugs on the accessories.

Second, how many people have 4GB memory cards?

Tons. They are becoming the norm for photographers using high end cameras. The iPod Photo is the high end of the iPods. Its photo accessories should have been designed to be compatible with the high as well as the low end.

I was about to drop the big money but as is I'll pass and will get the Epson P-2000 instead, even though I would have preferred the iPod.
