SI Bob,

Do you think it’s unreasonable to discourage political posts on the thread “Thread Morons?” Is it wrong to suggest that there are some community standards that apply to that particular thread?

Are the posters who insist that they can do whatever they want on a non-moderated coffee house thread, as long as it doesn’t break the TOU, correct?

I’m realistic, I understand that things changes but what’s wrong with trying to preserve something from becoming just another homogenized coffee house political war zone thread.

I had hope that people would be a little considerate but it apparent that they can’t be that way. I’m a little shocked, it’s like I asked someone not to litter and they reacted by asking their friends to drive by and dump all their garbage.
