I have never seen any earings projections for 1998 but Gordon Capital has a one year target of $16 Canadian on the stock.

You state that the earings growth over the last three years was 19%. CHC was only profitable in the last two years. In 1996 earing were $0.65 per share and in 1997 earings were $0.86 per share. This calculates to a growth rate of 32% and a p/e ratio of 16 based on 1997 earnings. Using an earning improvement this year of half of last year's growth rate would suggest earnings of $1 per share and a p/e ratio of 14.

CHC is raising $39 million through a placement of 3 million shares at $13.
