Such things have a way of concentrating one's thinking. As I have mentioned before, I like Kinsley personally. As I watch his takeover of the LA Times editorial section, I like to think some "911" has crept into his thinking. The essay I just posted, "Leaving the left," reflects the new thinking of a lot of liberals. The line, they hate George W. Bush more than they love freedom, really stuck me. Not that I think Kinsley will go anywhere near that far.
