Not that I think Kinsley will go anywhere near that far.

Kinsley has always been moderate to left. Your "Leaving the Left" guy hasn't drunk the right wing Kool-Aid. He's merely abandoned the "postmodern progressives" aka the "loony left." It's a second leap to become a conservative. I saw no evidence of it in that article.
