Thought I would post a buy recommendation from the Hard Rock Analyst that was issued on Aug 6.

Consolidated Magna Ventures Ltd CMV Shares issued 15061705 1997-08-06 close $0.8 Wednesday Aug 6 1997
Eric and David Coffin recommend the purchase of Consolidated Magna Ventures Ltd in the August 7 edition of The Hard Rock Analyst. Because the company participates in almost every major area play, the chart reflects this activity much like a roller-coaster, "with the peaks occurring in the middle of a given play," note the Coffins. First phase drilling is set to begin at the Reyna de Oro gold property, where areas of broadly disseminated and high grade gold have already been established. The possibility of broad ore grade intersections from this property, and strong results from programs in northern Mexico have the Coffins believing that this could be a likely source of gains in the near term, and they recommend CMV be accumulated in the current price range, with a three to six month target of $1.50 to $2.50.

The map I recieved in my IR package does not identify the zones but generally you can piece together some of the picture by reference to some of the surface samples.
In the NR dated May 26 a table of historical assay results is presented.
Marina/Silverio surface - 62 meters grading 2.99 g/t
Tahonas surface - 35 meters grading 1.12 g/t
These surface samples are to the west giving a strike length of ~300 meters so far that they reported assays for.
The NR dated Aug 5 states that the mineralization has been followed for more than 1 km and additional mineralization has been discovered both above and below the initial zones with assays pending. Possibly these are the assays we will recieve this week and not any drill results? Anyways it looks like we have lots of news to look forward to over the next few weeks/months.

John
