Jeb Bush cut 57,700 mainly legal voters off the rolls in Florida in 2000, managed by GOP consulting firm ChoicePoint and deliberately denied thousands of mainly black voters their basic rights. In the process they also denied Gore at bare minimum about 10,000 extra votes which meant the election. Sadly, this was not discovered until after the Bush friendly Supreme Court ended the election.

This is a post Jim Crow way of denying blacks their right to vote. The other way is what happened in Ohio last year where in black precincts there was up to a 9 hour wait to vote while in staunchly Republican precinctc there was no wait at all.
