I think men probably do more around the house than women think, because, as the article pointed out, a lot of the resentment women feel is because they get most of the constant maintenance jobs. Those jobs really are not very rewarding. My kitchen floor is dirty ten minutes after I've mopped it, and doing six loads of laundry a day is frustrating. I think people should wear their clothes for more than a few hours before dumping them back in the laundry basket.

Sometimes I feel like my husband doesn't do enough, but he has the jobs like chauffeuring people around and making bank deposits and handling everything to do with cars that probably are a little bit more fun, but really are just as time consuming. He will drop everything for a couple of days if a car needs a major repair. When things are running smoothly, he probably has a bit more free time than I do. But I can listen to music or watch tv when I am doing my housework, and he can't, so perhaps it's reasonably fair.
