Unfortunately my husband is a bit dyslexic, and gets things backwards when he does home repairs. He put in a new kitchen sink faucet, but Hot and Cold were reversed, and it took me about six months to remember that while fairly consistently burning myself. But he is pretty good with minor car repairs like replacing brake pads and fuses and things I have no clue about.

After losing our shirts in the big tech crash, we are making do with used cars. I dream of buying a hybrid four wheel drive vehicle, but since they are so new and so popular, it will be quite a long time before we can afford a used one. With four adults in our family at the moment, and three dogs, even a Jeep Cherokee is very cramped.

And now we buy our shirts at Goodwill . . . I really enjoy doing that. I feel like I am recycling and helping planetary health in some small way, and the variety is actually a lot wider and more interesting than you can find at the stores in our area.
