Anyone have positions in SYMC and/or VRTS? SYMC recently bounced off of the low 18s very nicely and quickly climbed back over $21; was thinking about taking a position in the low 18s, but did not pull the trigger. I had hesitations due to the uncertainty of performance once the two companies merge in late June. Both companies have pretty strong fundamentals individually, so I would assume that they would merge into a fundamentally strong entity. Yet I'm still hesitant because many merged companies stagger in stock price for a while after the merger takes-place. Any comments/investments/opinions to discuss?
