Exactly AS, you nailed it - and I agree completely.

The US military has heroes and b*stards - same as any other group of people, and they do attact a certain percentage of violent sociopaths, the same as other security and authority related occupations.

I'm sick to death of the hero worshipping clap-trap we are spoon fed 24/7 by the "liberal" TV networks - which are corporate propaganda machines spinning whatever the people will gobble up, to sell their wares in the non-Tivo'd commercials they carry.

Instead of gushing about the American soldier heroes in Iraq, they should be exposing the frauds used to lure believing 18 and 19 year olds to their deaths in a foreign country by a group of amoral older white men in the oil business - our current government.

Don't get me going, I'm starting to sound like Ray lol!!

Abu Graiab proved we do a lot worse things than diss Korans. face it, Bushies let out the dogs of war, and some of those dogs are rabid and ferocious. Not all Americans are moral, ethical or even in their right minds. Not all US soldiers are noble heros. There are all types of people in our military, some of them extremely vicious. It has always been that way and always will be that way. The military attracts such people.
