Roebear, agree that it isn't yet apparent that the bottom turn is being made. In support of this view, here again is my earlier post, but with new chart links (seems that smcurl went down for the count; links worked when I first got them - I always check first - but somehow later went to that big bit bucket in the sky).

The HUI is still looking like another porpoise dive down is possible, yet it could finally pierce the BB midlines instead. This is the fourth challenge in the last six weeks. The next couple of days should well tell. Chart:

The weekly chart doesn't give as much hope, but, of course, it lags:

A conservative PM long investor might wait for the HUI to break the BB midlines upward on the weekly, which could be somewhere in the 185 area eyeballing the chart, if an uptrend continues. FWIW.
