We do not see much presence of Toshiba cards (other than a recent entry at OfficeMax) here but they are definitely there in Europe (Bruno can help us with info about their presence in Europe) and was wondering if they have a presence in Asia in a big way? I am wondering if that is the reason SNDK went after STM and Toshiba went after Hynix for patent related issues?

I think that during her last presentation that Judy Bruner was asked why they went after STM instead of Hynix (or other new NAND players)....the response was that the legal team thought that the STM action would be resolved the most quickly. A win over STM would set a nice precedent for the next lawsuit. Renesas, Micron or Infineon would all seem to be candidates.

The latest numbers from iSuppli indicate that 17% of the NAND supply is now coming from non-licensed sources. This could be a nice source of upside if Sandisk manages to get the same type of royalties that they are getting from their current licensees.
