What i am uncertain of bill is after the cloture vote on the meyers and saad is defeated along party lines for the most part, Frist can indeed go nuclear again. Have McCain et all pledged not to vote nuclear in such a case even if they are convinced that either saad or meyer or both are acceptable as non-eggregious conservatives not deserving of a denial of an up and down vote. I dont think McCain et al have pledged to do this. I think the dems pledged only to filibuster the eggregious so does this agreement only delay the inevitable or are the dems willing to accpet all the GOP picks with the promise being some "reasonable" SC choices?
