I appreciate your prayers! :)This is the scoop:
Well, at 93, she is still there!
She has double pneumonia, in each lung.
It is the good bacteria, versus the bad.
The antibiotics are effective, and she is a little better.
The fever is lower.
My aunts are with her, and even my mom's sister is around to help, altough it is my dad's mother. I was able to call her and that was good.
My great aunt, mom's aunt, is 96 and doing so well, so it is an interesting comparison. She reads, visits others, prays and writes me frequent letters. She is a people-person. She also is a strong believer in the Lord.
My grandmother is not active and it is tough to see! She is a family person, but not a people-person.
I can really see the difference in being people-oriented, and others-first-oriented versus being self-oriented.
I also believe their difference in faith is obvious.
My dad's mother has never really understood God's love and I do not believe she cares. It may be too late? I've tried to tell her. My parents have tried to tell her, but she never got it.
It is tough! I am the eldest grandchild, on both sides, and my grandparents were close to me! She is the only one of four left! I had grandparents till my late 20's!
My mother's family, and my parents are so awesome, and a major contrast! |
