Hi Ed, What concerns me is that we are at such a disadvantage with rogue states like NK and Iran now, given what you and UW say. A call for a draft will create vietnam style resistance. If there was no draft then, that war may still be going on today given our propensity for "as long as it takes comments" i am now hearing about iraq. If all of us "resistors" back then would be really honest with themselves, they know the opposition to the vietnam war was directly proportional to the fear of being drafted and forced to go to be killed or kill in that order. Same would happen in iraq today. You get a little bit of that from the reserves who are now being abused by the system . mike
